Buyer Critiques

Just before shopping for the game, a read a couple of evaluations on the internet and most of them were pretty undesirable, but when I began to play it, I was truly shocked by how superior the game is. The graphics are remarkable, superior than any basketball game that I have ever played, and the arenas are all created perfectly. The commentary is fairly great, though dick vitale does get sort of annoying. The gameplay is very enjoyable. Unline nba 2k9 and college hoops 2k8, you will really make open shots. The player animations are good, it is not completely unrealistic. In terms of online play, the connection is amazing, and the game has by no means lagged for me. I havent even started the dynasty mode however, which looks to be fairly deep. Another nice function is that you can download player names on line.
What prevented this from getting 5 stars was some quirky animations during the gameplay, but this is nevertheless a excellent sports game that is not close to as poor as the other critiques make it out to be.

Its a shame that this is the only college basketball game on the industry considering that this game is horrible! i briefly played the demo and i bought it simply because me and my close friends are significant college basketbal fans and enjoyed playing NCAA 2K8 last year. By acquiring this game I threw 60$ out the window! This game has hardly any unique functions not alot more than half of those 2K8 had.....You can not start out much more than 1 dynasty at once ( A function that me and my pals enjoyed the most), There are no fun functions like build a team or any other custimization at all...and the only custimization function that you will end up using is edit players because the player models are soooo far off they are practically unreparible all together...Lots of important players are entirely missing from the game...As for the gameplay don't even get me started the game play sucks! If there is a press it takes around 6 seconds to dribble past half court since when you are running with a point guard at complete speed (which isnt especially quickly at all) you come to a complete stop and seeminly go into panic mode and typically pass the ball away or drop it so that the D can choose it up....when you finally get the ball past halfcourt the complications continue no matter where you stand past halfcourt the defender doesnt stand extra than a foot away from you at all occasions which tends to make it nearly impossible to get an open shot off which would be nice at instances mainly because you normally finish a ten minute half with a score of about 15 - 20. other complications past halfcourt no offensive rebounding even with UCONNS + 7 foot center. hardly any scorign with a guard in the paint considering that guards cannot get past the defender infront of them considering that once again operating at full speed doesnt generate any momentum what so ever...NCAA did 1 issue suitable this season the courts appear a lot more realistic than prior to (too bad you won't delight in playing in them).....bring back 2K sports
